To finish off this series, we have a report on our recent pyjama day charity event and our Easter competition. There’s also a news round up, a selection of the best pranks, the best beaches, best painters, favourite video games and some riddles too. Our teacher interview this week is with Art teacher Mrs Rios and following our intro music created on Garageband, we have a double dose of outro music - ‘Pop Goes The Weasel’ played on the piano and ‘This Land is my Land’ played on the saxophone. On this week’s episode the Off Script section discusses the recent news regarding the new asylum bill. We hear about the school’s World Book Day events, a geography project in Year 3, a deep dive into the history of Nintendo, and the most subscribed YouTube channels. We also have some interesting facts about the world, the best ice cream flavours and the best mythical creatures. Our teacher interview this week is with Mrs Tailor and our dose of music this week features an amazing original rap written and performed by two Year 5 children.

On this week’s episode the Off Script section discusses the recent news regarding alterations made to the language used in Roald Dahl’s classic children’s books. We hear about our House Values at Manor Lodge and a recent DT project in Year 6. Welcome to Series 3 of the Manor Lodge School Podcast.The first episode of Series 3 is a bumper edition that includes some brand new features.We have an open discussion to get the children’s views on the ongoing strikes across the country at the moment and we also have a fun interactive game for you to play along with. The children and staff at Manor Lodge would like to to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, her remarkable life of devotion and service, and mark this historic transition from one monarch to another.We'd like to express our sincere condolences to the Queen’s family and all those who were close to her, as well as everyone around the world that felt a deep affection and connection to her.

On our final episode of our debut series, we bid farewell to the Year 6 leavers, we interview Mr Gallagher and we have an end of season review. We also have a sports day report, a football transfer roundup and some fascinating facts about sharks.
