Dr. Willie L. James Jr. was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. As a young man, he was an amateur boxing champ. In 1985 the Lord called him from the boxing ring to fight the good fight of faith. The mission for Dr. James’ life is to be a Christian, disciple-making, kingdom-building pastor, and his vision is to fulfill the mission through the cultural mandate (Genesis 1:26-28) and evangelistical mandate (Matthew 28:19-20). He has served in numerous capacities in the local church, such as Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor. Dr. James serves in ministry, with his wife of 36 years, Dr. Danette L. James, and he is the father of two blessed adult children.
