There’s a part of growth no one can measure.
No reps. No steps. No data.
And for me… that’s where everything started to unravel.
After an injury took me out of training, I expected to adjust, modify, push through.
Instead, I was met with something I wasn’t prepared for:
Stillness.
And not just physical stillness…
but the loss of the place I had learned to find myself-through output, progress, and performance.
In this episode, I’m not speaking from the other side of it.
I’m in it.
Still learning. Still reaching. Still… producing.
And realizing in real time that this isn’t just about discipline-
it’s about attachment to output as a source of stability.
We explore:
- Why losing progress can feel disorienting (even if you’re “strong”)
- The deeper meaning of “abide” (John 15:4)
- The parable of growth happening unseen (Mark 4:27–28)
- The neuroscience of integration, neural consolidation, and healing without output
- And what it looks like to stay present… when you can’t measure anything
This isn’t a message about doing more.
It’s about learning to remain-
even when you don’t know how yet.
🌿 Root. 🌿 Then stalk. 🌿 Then fruit.
Let’s build.
Be love… and be loved, Beloved.
