Celebrations = automatic stress, even when everything goes perfectly. That said, we can reduce stress if we're strategic (and realistic) with our planning. The value of experience will always outweigh the actual details, so get real with your values and align with that, as best ya can.
I'm a lucky duck for not having familial obligations for the holidays - but when I didn't have excuses (or boundaries) I learned a ton of lessons that helped me become a more intentional person in my celebrations.
