Make Prayer Beautiful

Oh, Lord! Your ways are so challenging!

This story challenged my thinking, and, again, encouraged me to pray.

I hadn't considered the difference between the action of giving a word of encouragement, comfort, or strengthening, and the gift to the body to be a prophet.

A moment to sit silent before the Lord.

Anticipate that the Lord hides things for us, not from us.

We can interpret our dreams! Empowerment!

These challenge me. I'm not sure if they inspire me, but I sit with them in wonder.

It's not standard issue! It's personal! It's specific!

I don't remember this happening before, but Bob told me some interesting stories!

Even Samuel needed to learn how to understand the voice of God.

Is it rational? Irrational? Generational? A few options for praying through this and other fears.

Get your hopes up!

My little reminder that I am a whole person, with physical needs, that are no less real than all the incorporeal parts of me.

I appreciated the answer so much.

He will never be too busy or distracted to hear from us.

It maybe shouldn't have surprised me how different it felt, but it really did surprise me.

In my experience, in some cases, the invitation won't always be there. 

Basically: get away to be with Jesus, even if you're in a group.

Lord, bless us to process transitions even in the midst of the reality of daily life.

Sometimes maybe it's good to resist, but sometimes just take a nap.
