Show Notes

Heidi Leiterman, Program Specialist with the Lifelong Learning Institute at UWGB, joins the guys to discuss some upcoming classes available to everyone. Specifically, they have a course on the history of the NFL Draft. Did you know that there was another draft in Wisconsin? It was held in Milwaukee for the 1940 draft. Then, we're joined by Allison Hockers and Beckett K. to talk about the Pi Day 5K. The run/walk will take place in downtown Green Bay and is open to the public. In the past ten years, the PI Day 5K has donated over $185,000 dollars to local charities. This successful event is driven by a leadership team of 5th graders from our school. This year the money raised will help send local veterans on the Old Glory Honor Flight. It's possible they will have 600 runners, which will be a new record for the run!
