Show Notes

Mark Husen from Bellin Sports Medicine is in the house to discuss the WIAA girls' tournaments in Northeast Wisconsin next weekend. He also discussed the importance of safety and health for all attendees, the ease of access to defibrillators, and the importance of deciding whether to use an emergency room or urgent care. Then Gail Nohr with Veterans 1st of NEW and Paula Jolly with Mandolin Foundation are in to talk about both organizations. Veterans 1st is working on building a group of tiny homes for veterans in need, and the Mandolin Foundation, along with Amanda's House, provides safe and supportive transitional housing for women recovering from trauma, mental health, and substance use.
