It's Friday, which means a visit from Mark Husen with Bellin Sports Medicine. By special request, Mark brings in an AED unit to give Jim, John, and our listeners a quick tutorial on how to use them. According to Mark, the big thing about AEDs is to turn the unit on. The unit will walk the user through the steps needed to check heart rate and determine if and when a shock might be required. A very important bit of information! Then the guys are joined by Bryce Retzer from Ledgerock Distillery, one of the participants in the Maino & The Mayor Top Craft Pick promotion that's currently underway. From vodkas to bourbons and everything in between, the grains used are from their farm on the ledge just south of Fond du Lac. Using the limestone-filtered water, also found on the farm, they truly create farm-to-table products.
