793: Parades, Parks & Prime Cuts: A Magical Weekend Review

We’re recapping a whirlwind Disney weekend filled with big thrills, bold flavors, and brand-new experiences across Walt Disney World. We kick things off at Magic Kingdom, where we got our first look at the brand-new Starlight Magic Parade. We’ll share our honest thoughts on the floats, characters, music, and whether it lives up to the hype—or if it’s just Main Street Electrical 2.0 with a new glow.

Next, we head to EPCOT to dive into Test Track 3.0, the reimagining of the classic ride that now blends high-speed thrills with a touch of World of Motion nostalgia. Is it an upgrade, a downgrade, or just… different? We’ll break it all down.

Then it’s time to eat—really well. We’ll take you through our fine dining experience at Bourbon Steak, one of the top new steakhouses in Central Florida, tucked inside the Swan & Dolphin (Dolphin side) right on Disney property. And from white tablecloths to Yeti footprints, we shift gears with a quick review of our lunch at Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom.

Of course, no trip is complete without snacks! We’ll share what we grabbed from Sleepy Hollow and have some updates on the brand-new Wailulu Bar and Grill at the Polynesian Resort Tower—including zero-proof sips, sweet treats, and some surprisingly great finds. Come along for the ride!
