Have you ever read a book that changed your life? Let me tell you about the book that not only changed my life, it continues to change my life each year. Today's episode is a book review of Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda. This book has influenced George Harrison of the Beatles, Steve Jobs and even Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek. This book is infused with Yogananda's vibrations, which is why it is so influential. If you haven't read it yet, I hope to inspire you to do so. If you have read it, I hope to inspire you to read it again. Key learnings: To Magnify Your Miracles, it's a good practice to keep your mind filled with true stories of miraculous occurrences. So many people ask me "Is alcohol OK for someone on the spiritual path?" I believe every person needs to decide this for themselves, and since I am a spiritual coach and mentor, in today's episode, I am sharing some ways to help you do that. I will go over some important things to keep in mind, especially for highly sensitive/ highly creative people. You will also learn the three "red flags" to watch for regarding alcohol. Key learnings: Why do some religions allow it and others don't? Why was Jesus' first miracle turning water to wine, but John the Baptist wasn't allowed to touch alcohol? When you want to understand a spiritual teaching, it's important to let go of "right/ wrong" or "good/bad" and ask instead "Why?" They share their own story of experiencing a personal apparition of Mother Mary in Woodstock, NY. He is a former Zen Monk and she is a feminist, not the typical people you would expect to be visited by Mother Mary. Yet their story is so relatable and truly makes Her presence accessible. We all want to experience more miracles, to have more light, love and joy in our lives. Is it possible that you are unknowingly doing something to push miracles away?? In this episode, Mother Mary asked me to share a story from Her life that to show you what to do, and what NOT to do, to Magnify Your Miracles! Takeaways How you respond when a miracle happens determines how often you will experience them. Replace saying "I don't believe it" with "I am so grateful." Doubt erodes your manifesting ability. The more you argue for your limitations, the more you get to keep them. If you respond with curiosity rather than fear, you will magnify your miracles exponentially. This story is from the New Testament, but it applies to all of us. We all receive nudges, hunches and synchronicities in answer to our prayers. Make sure you don't dismiss them. In today's episode, I share a powerful book that has changed my life called Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend. This is one of the best books on visualization that I have ever read. If you have ever had any challenges with visualizing, this book breaks it down quite thoroughly. She also uses her own real life example of becoming the only personal student of the great author on mental science, Thomas Troward. When you put form to Spirit, that is when you become a creator! Visualization is not just what you "see" in your mind, it's also how you feel. Hello, my Miraculous Friend! This very first episode is about Magnifying YOUR Miracles. It's a chance for me to talk a little bit about what it means to magnify miracles. I share why I am starting this podcast, what my intention is for you and what you can expect. I share my story of becoming an intuitive healer, how my intuition expanded to be able to "talk" with the chakras and discover the underlying emotional issues stuck in those centers. I also share my journey through a "dark night of the soul" and how a miraculous encounter with Mother Mary healed my heart and ignited my purpose. Takeaways One of the keys to working with miraculous energy is prayer. Prayer is like picking up the phone and connecting from within. What you focus on expands. By keeping your focus on the Divine, on "high-frequency energy" you will be able to keep your own vibration high and can perceive the miraculous energy already present in your life.
