Ep 2176Magic Mushroom Hour with Omega Evolution of the Beatles Sound Episode 2306
Sorry, it took me 2 weeks to put this episode together as I have always been interested in how the young lads from Liverpool emerged from a club bar to write, perform, and record a book of music that changed the World. I wanted a progression of music from each of their albums to mark the changes in sound, writing, and studio experimentation. We most often listen to bits and pieces of their albums from this huge volume of material and don't really track the progress in their abilities. I hope you find this interesting as I loved putting it together. It's all good and the journey was quite remarkable especially if you follow the changes in culture that paralleled their short period of time together as a group. The Beatles. Nice set, songs, and night! Beam on up and kick back! Classic Rock and Progressive Rock! Ep 2152Magic Mushroom Hour with Omega 3 hours of Beatles Tunes Episode 2090
Yes! 3 hours of re-mastered songs from the huge book of Beatles Tunes! I usually don’t play a lot of their music because of their copyrights; even though I pay for the rights to re-broadcast from the nightly FM radio show on North Carolina Public Radio, the hoops you have to jump through with Apple Tunes and YouTube are idiotic, so I don’t usually waste my time. But after listening to some of my favorite songs, I thought, Why Not! The Hell with YouTube. So, here it is, 3 hours of group and solo material from the Fab Four. The hardest part was trying to constructively put this much music in a semblance of order and trying to disperse the whole book without skipping a lot of great songs. I hope I played the tunes you enjoy as I love them all, especially Lennon’s Word Plays. Have fun and enjoy! This is some great music spanning generations.
