Rockonsin Returns: Wisconsins Youth Music Competition Seeks Talented Bands for Summerfest Showcase
The Rockonsin competition, Wisconsins premier youth music event, is back for its 22nd year. Ten bands, composed of students from 7th to 12th grade, will be selected to perform at Summerfest, the states largest music festival. Bands have until April 30th to submit a song cover for judging by a panel of music industry professionals. The top two finalists will receive additional prizes, including a 45-minute show at the Aurora Pavilion Center and recording sessions at a Madison studio. The event aims to showcase up-and-coming garage bands and provide them with valuable exposure.
