Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) is advancing clean energy goals by purchasing 15 megawatts of solar power from the Dawn Harvest Solar Energy Center in Wisconsin. This deal, approved by the Public Service Commission, allows MGE to own a portion of the 150 megawatt array. The utility, along with We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service, is part of WEC Energy Groups plan to increase renewables, reduce carbon emissions, and promote energy efficiency.
