Fatal Crash in Bradford: A Single-Car Accident Claims One Life
A tragic incident occurred early Friday morning in the Town of Bradford, resulting in one fatality. A Ford Escape, driven by an unidentified individual, lost control while heading east on Highway fourteen near South Scharine Road. The driver was ejected from the vehicle upon impact with a ditch embankment. Despite the efforts of multiple emergency services, including the Janesville Fire Department, Clinton Police and Fire Departments, Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, Janesville Police, and Rock County Highway Department, the driver did not survive. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash, which underscores the risks of rural highways, particularly at night.
