We've been led to believe for years that calories matter and that health just boils down into one simple equation;
Calories in = calories out
If and only if we could get this right we would be a nation of thin healthy people.
But come on, how can we believe this? We have to look around and realize that 90% of all people on diets are doing it through calorie counting and are many of them getting anywhere other than deprived?
We're not going to deny the fact that calories have an impact, yet what we must realize is that not all calories are created equal. And understanding this is what really matters.
