Def Jam Blaster has been performing in Texas since 1985, and heard on several top-ranking Houston radio stations beginning in 1992. He has been awarded National Morning Show DJ of the Year, Promoter and DJ of the Year in Houston, and The Hip-Hop Icon award to name a few. Blaster has traveled the world performing for top Record Labels and Urban Fashion brands. He co-hosted in-flight entertainment for Continental Airline’s Urban Groove Station, which was heard on hundreds of airplanes spanning thousands of flights across the world. He's been featured as a headlining DJ for every major event in Texas, including Superbowl and NBA All-Star Weekend, as well as corporate, political, and couture events. He's worked with Puff Daddy, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Doug E. Fresh, Run DMC, Mike Epps, Nephew Tommy, and countless other celebrities and artists as they've partied in Texas. He’s also produced for and/or done DJ work on albums by Scarface, Rakim, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, Goodie Mob and several other renowned groups. Blaster was the Featured DJ several times on BET's 106 & Park and Rap City.
