A trained engineer, Ken brings a deep expertise and understanding of engineering principles as well as a philosophers mind on the systems and mechanisms of improvement of both the whole company and also detailed process optimization. In this very interesting conversation Ken shares his personal journey, with all the highs and lows of owning a precision CNC machine shop over the past 40+ years. About Three Sigma Manufacturing: Three Sigma Mfg., Inc. is a supplier of precision machined products. Their 18,000 square foot facility in Kent, Washington houses a variety of machinery including 3-, 4-, and 5- axis CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Grinders, Wire EDMs, Deep-Hole Drills, and Inertia Welding equipment. Their high-end CAD/CAM capability allows to utilize customer-supplied computer models, or, if required, construct and then generate the required CNC cutter paths.
