Country music fans in Plainview, Texas, are in for a treat this summer as Chris Cagle headlines the Jimmy Dean Music Festival on August twenty-first. The event, organized by the local Lions Club, supports area nonprofits through fun and fundraising. Renegade of Lubbock will open for Cagle, with a catered dinner, raffle, dance floor, and cash bar. Cagle, a Houston native and Nashville-based artist, broke through as a songwriter and has since released multiple gold albums and top singles. Last years festival raised ten thousand dollars for local agencies, and this years profits will go to similar groups.
