Simon Hillis is a pro skier who was born in Bali, Indonesia but grew up in Rossland, BC skiing at Red Mountain. It's a good thing his family ended up in settling in the Kootenay Mountains because he's proven he belongs on a pair of skis. As a child Simon was hard to beat on the Junior freeride circuit consistently winning North American and Local championships alike. He's since shifted his focus to filming after a chance to shoot Warren Miller as a teenager and hasn't looked back since.
We talk about crafting his own web series project, Nearly Nowhere, shooting with TGR, his experiences an asian pro skier, Scuba Diving and lots more.
