Show Notes

All behaviors are a form of communication. What are the little ones in our classroom trying to tell us? Children aren't trying to ruin our days. They learn how to behave through experiences and modeling. In this episode, I will talk about how we can modify the unwanted behaviors we are seeing in our classrooms. I'll give you a hint... the first step is to find out the WHY behind the behavior. Tune in! Topics Discussed:
  • 3 examples of unwanted behaviors (hitting, sitting on the carpet, and following directions)
  • What behaviors can tell us about the child and the situation
  • How we can modify the unwanted behaviors
