In this episode, you'll hear my conversation with Mohamed Malim, the founder of Dream Refugee and a company called Epimonia. Both of Mohamed's organizations do important work to highlight the stories of refugees and to give back to the community. Mohamed is a Somali-American and in this conversation, he shares his experiences of being born in a refugee camp and moving to the United States as a young boy with his family. Mohamed has an amazing perspective to share with us so you won't want to miss this one!
*UPDATE: As mentioned in this episode, the refugee limit for Fiscal Year 2019 was limited to 30,000. For Fiscal Year 2020, that number was reduced to 18,000 - a new all time low.
