Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and Kay, returned from her adventures, from Wednesday 26th July 2023

150 years ago the paper reported on the attempt to open a new school in Gawler, 100 years ago a local property was condemned following an outbreak of diphtheria, 50 years ago a thirsty camel posed an unusual problem for the Bunyip photographer, 25 years ago a steam train was puffing through Gawler and 10 years ago the clock tower clock was ticking again, for a cost.

There was no Gawler Now and Then image this week.
