150 years ago the foundation stone for the new church at Wasleys was laid, 100 years ago a thief was apprehended, 50 years ago a noteworthy property was “under the hammer” in Gawler, 25 years ago the game of bridge was causing a disturbance and 10 years ago plans were afoot for a new medical centre in Gawler.
