Today on Long Island Tea, Sharon and Kristen are at Long Island’s iconic theme park, Adventureland in Farmingdale, and they have the whole park to themselves! The Adventureland season is winding down, but not without first celebrating Halloween at “Pumpkin Park” Adventureland’s safe trick or treating event October 21st and 22nd. It’s last big event before Adventureland closes for the season, and you don’t want to miss it! Kristen recaps the NYSHTA conference in Lake Placid and LIBDC event in Montauk. They also talk about upcoming industry events including the Long Island Association Luncheon with guest speaker David Beckham. For Taste of Long Island, the ladies are sipping on Adventureland’s own “A-Land Honey Ale” made by Oyster Bay Brewing company, and a warm fresh pretzel to go with it. They also talk about the Powerball jackpot, Long Island events this weekend, a couple of ChariTEAs (details below) and Long Island Tea’s new TikTok account.
