52-year-old Florentino Contreras Bacilio, from Long Beach, was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for kidnapping and attempting to sexually assault a woman in Huntington Beach. His co-defendant, Angel Lopezevaristo, received a 30-year to life sentence. The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was abducted while arguing on her phone and subjected to physical violence before being abandoned on Pacific Coast Highway. Bacilio, with a low IQ, was found guilty of aggravated assault but not premeditation. He must now register as a sex offender for life.
