Literary Women Festival Celebrates Women Authors in Long Beach
In the 1980s, Harriet Williams and Virginia Laddey launched the Literary Women Festival to highlight women writers, starting with just two authors. Now in its 44th year, the festival has grown into a major event, selling out in under 48 hours. This years lineup features women authors discussing topics from Chinese diaspora stories to early 20th-century evangelists, with emerging writers also joining in.
