Show Notes

Former CHP officer and woman charged with felony murder in deadly freeway crash, facing four counts each of second-degree murder for a chain-reaction crash that killed four young people last summer. The crash occurred when the officer, Angelo Rodriguez, was speeding over 130 mph without lights or sirens, rear-ended a Nissan, and then left the scene before returning. The victims, all in their early twenties, were heading home after a concert and died when another car, driven by Iris Salmeron, struck the stalled Nissan. Salmeron had been drinking heavily and was arrested for DUI. The pair are due in court for their first appearance.
