Shane Smith dazzles in MLB debut, but the Chicago White Sox bullpen ruins everything

Rookie pitcher Shane Smith shinned in his MLB debut for the Chicago White Sox. However, reliever Penn Murfee failed to protect a 3-0 lead as he gave up five runs with two outs in the sixth inning. Jordan Leasure allowed a 3-run blast in the ninth as the Minnesota Twins beat the Sox 8-3.

Host Todd Welter goes over how the decision to turn over the game to the bullpen was the right decision. Murfee just did not execute.

Then, White Sox TV play-by-play announcer John Schriffen took a shot at the Pitching Ninja, Rob Friedman on last night's broadcast. The reason it is a big deal is the White Sox pitching director, Brian Bannister, backed the Pitching Ninja on X.

Finally, Todd admits he was loud wrong on Nick Maton being the DH.
