Brian Snitker and the Atlanta Braves have named Spencer Strider the opening day starter against the hated Philadelphia Phillies. This breaks Max Fried’s streak of three straight. Tenitra Batiste, Maria Martin and Jarvis Davis talked about Snitker’s decision to name Strider the opening day starter. Also, they discussed Reynaldo Lopez taking over the fifth spot in the starting rotation. Secondly, Raheem Morris was very clear about what he was focused on when he was hired by the Atlanta Falcons. He and Terry Fontenot knew they needed a quarterback. The team talked about how heavy of an influence Morris had when they went with Kirk Cousins as their starter. They also talked about what the focus should be in the 2024 NFL Draft. Lastly, the Atlanta Hawks seem to have found a nice role for De’Andre Hunter.
