RED SOX POSTCAST: Sox Pull Off Sweep in Baltimore; Go Home After 7-1 TRIP

The Red Sox (75-60) held on for a 3-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles Thursday afternoon at Camden Yards and with the win completed a 4-game series sweep.  It's the Sox 7th sweep of the season and 2nd on the road. With Thursday's win, the Sox have won 4 straight road games for the 1st time this season and are a season-high 15 games over .500.

Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board 1st with Trevor Story's 2-out solo Home Run in the 1st Inning. Rob Refsnyder put the Red Sox up 2-1 with a solo Home Run in the 4th Inning. It was Refsnyder's 7th Home Run of the season. Roman Anthony knocked in the go-ahead run and what turned out to be the winning run with a 2-out RBI Single in the Top of the 8th Inning.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet took a no-decision in Thursday's start. Crochet gave up a solo HR to Alex Jackson in the 3rd Inning. Crochet has allowed 16 Home Runs this season and 13 have been solo shots. He finished with a 1-2-3 6th Inning with 2 Strikeouts.

What's On Tap?: The Sox return home to Boston and open up a 6-game Homestand with the 1st of 3 against the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday night.  The Pirates will go with RHP Paul Skenes in the opener and the Sox are TBA for Friday's starting pitcher. The Pirates go with RHP  Skenes Saturday, and the Sox will go with Dustin May. The Cleveland Guardians are in town and begin a 3-game series at Fenway beginning Monday.
