Olympic Break Breakdown | Another Failed Comeback By Predators Leads to Sour Note Heading Into Pause
The Nashville Predators' final game before the Olympic break ends with a sour note as they fall to the Washington Capitals, 4-2, in DC. It was another game in which the Predators tried to pull off a comeback, but came up empty-handed. Penalties stung the Predators as they put the Capitals on the power play six times and they'd score twice, proving to be the difference. Despite picking up five of eight points in their final four games before the break, with wins over the New York Islanders and St. Louis Blues and an overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild, Nashville is still on the outside looking in at an NHL Western Conference Wild Card spot.
