PHILLIES POSTCAST: Phillies COMPLETE THE SWEEP of the Rangers with 4-2 WIN!
The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Texas Rangers 4-2 to notch their first sweep since June 13th-15th! Zack Wheeler made his first start in 8 days and although his velocity was down a few miles per hour he threw five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while also striking out seven. He threw 83 pitches. As for the offense, Bryce Harper drove in Trea Turner on an RBI double in the 4th inning, then Edmundo Sosa tied the game at two with a solo homer in the 5th. The Phillies then took the lead latter in the 5th with an RBI single by Weston Wilson. Brandon Marsh added an insurance run in the 9th with a sac fly RBI to left.
