The Orlando Magic lost to the Utah Jazz 113-99, extending their slump. The team's stars, especially Paolo Banchero, struggled offensively. Franz Wagner scored 37 points but couldn't carry the team alone. The Magic's defense, usually their strength, faltered without injured players Jalen Suggs and Moe Wagner. The team's energy and effort were noticeably lacking throughout the game.

That is going double on the defensive end where the Magic have taken a major step back on defense since Jalen Suggs' injuries hit. Orlando is playing at an energy deficit and must find their way out.
