POSTCAST- Celtics Fall At Home to Memphis Grizzlies

The Celtics home win streak ended at 7 in a row with Saturday night's 127-121 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at TD Garden.  The road victory in Boston was the 1st for Memphis since November 27, 2013.  The Celtics had all 5 starters in Double-Figures and 3 players with 20 or more.  Ja Morant finished with 32 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 9 Assists for the Grizzlies. Jaren Jackson had 14 Points in the 4th Quarter and finished with 27.

#'s of the Night: The Celtics suffer their 1st Loss (4-1) on the season in the 2nd game of a back-to-back with Saturday's loss over the Grizzlies.  All 5 losses on the season for the Celtics have been by single digits.  Celtics went 18-for-60 from behind the 3-Point arc.  Payton Pritchard hit 6 3's and finished with 22. It's his 5th game with 20 or more over his last 7 games.

Career Milestone- Jrue Holiday hit on an old-fashioned 3-Point Play in the 4th and with that reached 16,000 career points. Holiday ended up with a season-high 23 and led the team in scoring for the 1st time this season. Holiday was 8-for-26 from the field and 4-for-17 on 3's.

1st-Half Nuggets:  The Celtics trailed by 4 after the 1st Quarter.  Boston 7-for-23 on 3's in the 1st Quarter and were 9-for-31 on 3's in the 1st Half. Boston gave up 35 points in the 2nd Quarter and trailed by 12 after the 1st 24 Minutes.  Jaylen Brown did not attempt a 3 in the 1st Half and had just 6 Points.  Jayson Tatum was 0-for-7 on 3's and also had just 6 Points in the 1st Half.  Jrue Holiday had 16 to lead Boston in the 1st 2 Quarters. Holiday was 5-for-17 from the field and 4-for-12 on 3-Point Attempts.

A Look Ahead: The Celtics finish off their tough stretch of games with the 2nd of a back-to-back against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.  The Celtics conclude a stretch of playing 6 games over 9 nights.  By not making it to the NBA Cup Quarterfinals, the Celtics added a home game against the Pistons on Thursday, December 12 and a road game against the Washington Wizards on Sunday, December 15.
