Changing the Perception of Cincinnati Bearcats Football
Noah Potter's transfer commit to the Cincinnati Bearcats is changing its perception for recruits in Ohio and around the country. Alex is joined by John Garcia Jr.-- director of football recruiting for Sports Illustrated. John agrees that the perception of the Cincinnati Bearcats is changing as they move to the Big 12 and they tap into other parts of the country for recruiting. In addition, John says the 2018 class getting national recognition is a huge testament to the development job led by head coach Luke Fickell and strength coach Brady Collins. That shows future recruits they can come to Cincinnati and get them to play on Sundays. Not only is Luke Fickell's transparency is a huge asset to the Cincinnati Bearcats football program, but his stability is a huge sell to recruits. Especially those recruits in the Cincinnati area. John thinks the Cincinnati Bearcats run to the College Football Playoff will give Cincinnati high school football more national recognition.
