POSTCAST: Sixers fall to the Raptors 115-107, Maxey Struggles again
The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Toronto Raptors 115-107 to drop to 0-2 on the young season. Tyrese Maxey is still looking to find his rhythm as he has struggled from the floor in both of the Sixers’ games. Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS: 1) Maxey needs to be better! Yes, Embiid and PG are out, so what. No excuse for him to shoot as dreadfully as he has to open the season. Maxey shot 5-of-15 from the floor in the first half for 19 points, then made just one field goal in the second half. He finished 6-of-23 for 24 points. 2) How do you lose a game where you have the benefit of winning the turnover battle, 26-16?!?!?! I’ll tell you how… 3) LOSE ON THE GLASS! The 76ers were out rebounded by the Raptors 54-28. – Honorable mention Kelly Oubre who netted a game high 28 points. Segment 2: Turning point of the game was again the 2nd Quarter. Like the Bucks game, the Sixers lost control of the game around the 6:00 minute mark of the 2nd quarter. Raptors went on a 12-4 run. Segment 3: Checking the show’s you tube channel comment section.
