The Seattle Sounders didn’t play but that didn’t stop us from laying down some more coverage of Leagues Cup 2024. We react to the latest slate of group-stage matches, which included some more positive results for MLS clubs over Liga MX, with an unlikely hero emerging in the form of Austin FC.
Elsewhere, Dayne St. Clair went God mode again for Minnesota United, LAFC took a comedic defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Columbus Crew traded for a player that we realized mid-pod could have been a great pickup for the Seattle Sounders. We also touch on Sounders season ticket renewal pricing and the debacle it has started.
