Alzheimer’s. People hate hearing that word. It triggers us; it makes us afraid. “I don’t want anyone to know, because I don’t want to acknowledge it.” It’s hard to say, it’s hard to spell and it leads us into a downward spiral of depression and hopelessness.
There is hope. We have to be brave enough to see new data, new treatments, and new opportunities. Read on.
Denial is based on fear, but knowledge is power and there IS something we can do about this. It’s called Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, and it is shown to slow moderate cases of Alzheimer’s by 60% over a span of 14 months. This treatment involves the removal of plasma from your blood and the replacement of new, clean plasma. In essence, you take out the bad things and put in the good things.
