David Morrow is the founder of David Morrow Personal Training, author of The Nimble Warrior, the host for the HRD2Kill Podcast and a 15 veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces with a combat tour in Afghanistan in 2010-2011. David currently works with military veterans and serving members looking to optimize their performance, regain their peak military bodies and become family role models.
David holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from McGill University and was a high school science teacher for many years. Dave's Master's research focused on the establishment of a high school concussion protocol and is currently being considered for implementation at the provincial government level.
In this podcast, David shares his fitness journey and how it came into his life. More importantly, David talks about his injury during the war was the best thing that ever happened. After transitioning from a military soldier to a high school teacher, David felt there was a greater purpose missing in his life.
David's injury inspired him to write the Nimble Warrior and start the HRD2Kill Podcast to better serve soldiers in the Canadian Armed Forces. This led David to his entrepreneur journey. Being an entrepreneur is not easy, David speaks about his greatest failure that he has learned from.
David gives advice on how someone can start a fitness journey and maintain a five minute daily fitness habit. Lastly, David shares who his greatest mentors have been and how they have positively impacted his business.
