Show Notes

Have you been diagnosed with cancer recently? If you’re dealing with shock or denial, I’ve been there! I suggest giving yourself time to process the news. Denial will come and go at times. It may be a phase that comes and goes, then comes back again. Denial is often the first reaction to overwhelming, unimaginable news. Denial, disbelief, and shock protect us by allowing such news to enter slowly and gives us time to come to grips with what is taking place.

Dr. Joe Dispenza says, “the act of closing your eyes and rehearsing what you’re going to do begins to install the neurological hardware in your brain to look like you already did it. Now the brain is no longer a record to the past, it’s a map to your future.” What do you see when you close your eyes? Email your thoughts to Debra Burns: [email protected]
