I first fell in love with Carla’s TikToks this summer. The way she so perfectly articulates what I often feel, and how much I related to every video she put out was almost scary. This week, get comfy… because I am sick and tired of all these people telling me what to do! We are LIVE from my highschool bed…where all my questionable life choices began. The more we scroll to find someone as imperfect as we are, the more wrong we feel. It got me wondering: what part of ‘doing it wrong’ are we all so afraid of? Then we get into what I call the ‘Friendship Awkward Phase’ that no one is talking enough about. I’m talking to all of us in our mid/late twenties and early thirties who are trying to navigate friendships that used to be so easy, and now require so much more of us.
