Your host, Doug Noll, talks with the Co-Founder and CEO of Rivet, Ted Ferrin Ted's journey into the SaaS tech industry was anything but conventional. As a junior in college, married, and in need of a job, he stumbled upon an opportunity that would unknowingly shape his career. A flyer boasting partnerships with prestigious institutions like Harvard, Yale, and tech giants Apple and Microsoft caught his eye. This led him to my first software experience with Qualtrics, a company that, at the time, was far from the $15 billion publicly traded powerhouse it is today.
That initial foray into software was a revelation. Ted was captivated by the process of selling, earning, and keeping customers. Despite not being an engineer, he developed a profound appreciation for product development and the magic of software functionality. This experience solidified his resolve to pursue a career in tech for the long haul.
