Show Notes
Your host, Doug Noll, talks with the Owner and CEO of Level 9 Virtual, Joe Rare. Growing up in Northern California, Joe wasn't content with the status quo. Influenced by the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad," he realized early on that working for oneself was the key to personal wealth. With parents who had reached their career ceilings, he yearned for something beyond the ordinary. This desire led Joe to start his own business right before college, where he faced the harsh realities of door-to-door sales. Despite the rejections and challenges, this experience became the foundation of Joe's entrepreneurial journey.
After college, Joe took the plunge and grew his door-to-door sales business to 40 employees before selling it. Although he admits he could have made more money had he known better, this venture was just the beginning. It led him to explore real estate, marketing, and other industries, each step furthering his business acumen.
Today, Joe is at the helm of six thriving companies, with Level 9 Virtual being the largest. This virtual assistant services company was born out of necessity and a brilliant suggestion from a team member. Inspired by "The 4-Hour Workweek," he had already been leveraging virtual assistants to run his e-commerce business. Recognizing the potential, he turned this practice into a successful enterprise that operates with minimal involvement on his part.
