Show Notes
Your host, Doug Noll, talks with the President and CEO of World Emblem, Randy Carr. Randy's story is a testament to the power of resilience. In 1983, fresh out of high school, he joined his father's business. However, it wasn't until 1990, after the original business went under, they restarted in Hialeah, Florida. World Emblem was officially incorporated in 1993, marking the beginning of a new era.
The road to becoming the largest emblem manufacturer in the world, with 1500 employees and a million square feet of manufacturing space, was paved with "ups and downs," as Randy puts it. The journey from a family-owned operation to a global enterprise required perseverance and a meticulous desire to scale. Randy emphasizes the importance of having the right people and customers, which has been instrumental in the company's growth.
