Your host, Doug Noll, talks with the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer of Feed the Children, Colleen Ridenhour. Colleen has an intriguing journey from working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles to building a corporate social responsibility platform. Through this experience, Colleen discovered her passion for nonprofit work, leading Colleen to leave her corporate job to make a difference in the nonprofit space.
Feed the Children is dedicated to helping families and children by providing food and essential items. They work through a network of community partners in the United States and have country operations in eight countries outside the US. As the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, Colleen's role is to help the organization grow its impact and serve more families. She emphasizes the importance of resources, including financial support, to achieve this goal and expressed excitement for the opportunities in the nonprofit sector and the upcoming launch of a new strategic plan.
