مبادرة ليبيديما بالعربي هي مبادرة توعوية باللغة العربية للتثقيف الصحي عن مرض الوذمة الشحمية أو ما يُعرف بمرض الليبيديما، صاحبة هذه المبادرة دينا ابريوش مصابة بذات المرض، حيث أنشأت صفحات توعوية ومجموعات دعم لمصابات هذا المرض منذ بداية عام 2022، وتقوم بجولات سنوية في فلسطين والأردن والإمارات لعقد لقاءات توعوية وجاهية وتوثيقها، وتجمع السيدات المصابات مع الأطباء والمختصين في تشخيص وعلاج مرض الليبيديما، وتقدم مساحة للمصابات للتعبيرعن أنفسهم ونشر تجاربهم الشخصية والعلاجية مع مرض الليبيديما، وتسعى جاهدةً لتوسعة دائرة التوعية في المجتمعات العربية والتعاون مع المراكز الصحية والأطباء لتقديم المساعدات الطبية والنفسية لمصابات الوذمة الشحميةتستضيف دينا في بودكاست ليبيديما بالعربي عدة أطراف مهمة للحديث عن مرض الليبيديما، حيث تناولت الجانب النفسي، والعلاج الجراحي والعلاج التحفظي لمرض الوذمة الشحمية، والجانب الرياضي وكذلك تجارب شخصية لمصابات الليبيديما(Lipedema in Arabic) initiative has been created by its owner (Dina Braiwish) - who also suffers from Lipedema - for raising awareness about Lipedema disease in Arabic language, by creating awareness pages and support groups for those suffering from this disease, on social media platforms since the beginning of 2022.She also arranges annual visits to Palestine, Jordan and UAE to hold face-to-face awareness meetings and gatherings with Lipedema ladies, and collaborates with doctors and specialists to bring them together, so they can get their diagnoses and treatment plans.By doing all that for the Lipedema community in Middle East region, she provides a safe space for those suffering ladies to express themselves and their feelings without any judgment or shame, and encourage them to share their stories and experiences with lipedema.Dina is in full swing to raise the awareness in Arab societies and cooperate with health centers and doctors to provide medical and psychological assistance to Lipedema ladies, and recently she launched her first podcast season to host several important parties in the Lipedema community to talk more about it, where she discusses the psychological aspect, surgical treatment and conservative treatment for lipedema patients, the sports aspect, as well as personal experiences of some lipedema ladies.
