Jia shares her incredible story of how she made a mid life decision to completely change career and switch from being a fashion designer and to become a documentary film maker. After she heard the gut wrenching stories of wrongful convictions in books, movies and podcasts she was motivated to stop sitting on the sidelines and to jump into the fight!
Jia is is a graduate of New York Film Academy. She is the directory of a very important documentary called "Conviction" which investigated the flaws and inconsistencies of the American Criminal Justice system through the story of Jeffrey Deskovic.
