On today's show Irma Alred joins John to share a heartbreaking and inspiring story. Irma was was convicted for a conspiracy to possess with intent to sell marijuana. It was just her second offense, but she was sentenced to 364 months in prison (30 years 4 months) along with a fine of $25,000, with 18 % interest, 10 years probation. Irma served 21 years and was released from prison on October 30th 2015. There is so much more to the story. While in prison Irma dealt with debilitating brain aneurysm that resulted in two surgeries. The second one resulting in very scary complications and a difficult recovery.
