Today Aaron Commey joins Felony Friday host John Odermatt to share how he spent more than a decade in federal prison without being convicted. We start things off by talking about Aaron ’s background and the mental illness that led to delusions, which landed him in serious trouble with the law. Aaron was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2003, but still remained in the federal prison system until January of 2015. TheArthur Duncan II joins host John Odermatt to share how he transformed his life after a felony drug conviction. From his younger days growing up surrounded by gangs in LA to selling crack on the streets of Buffalo, TheArthur overcame both external and self-inflicted mistakes to achieve his dreams. TheArthur’s felony drug conviction led to three years in jail, but he did not allow that to limit his opportunities or expectations. After a teacher let him know that felons were permitted to practice law in the state of New York he wasn’t going to let anything stand in his way.
