This Weekend in Hedonism (Segment 3)

  • Ingredients

  • 2 (24 ounce) containers mushrooms, cut in quarters

  • 1 cup water or chicken stock

  • 2/3 cup soy sauce

  • 4 scallions, finely chopped

  • Juice of 1 lemon or 2 limes

  • 6 tablespoons dark brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1-2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a large crock pot or slow cooker, and stir. Cover, and cook on high 5-7 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon so that the liquid drains out
